Dorothy Mae Kent, 82, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Twin Oaks Nursing Center. Born April 19, 1927 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Charles L. and Dora (Gumbert) Kent. She worked at New Hope Industries. Dorothy was a member of First Christian Church.
She is survived by one niece, Frances Butts of Mansfield; three great nephews, Larry Butts of Crestline, Jerry Butts of Marion, and Gary Butts of Bucyrus; several cousins; and guardian, Barbara Mills. She was preceded in death by her parents; and nephew, Richard DeWitt.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 19, 2010 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., Mansfield conducted by Rev. Chris Whitehead. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church.
